🚌 Transport
From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, take the S3 (toward Erkner) to Köpenick station, then walk 15 minutes. From BER Airport, take the S45/S49 to Schöneweide station and transfer to tram 60 or 67 (toward Friedrichshagen), which stops right in front of the stadium at “Alte Försterei.” Parking is extremely limited, so public transit is strongly recommended.

There’s no hotel right next to the stadium, but the Köpenick area has options 0.8–1.9km away that are reachable on foot or by transit, including NYX Hotel Berlin Köpenick (opposite Köpenick Castle) and Hotel Berlin Köpenick by Leonardo Hotels.

Union Berlin is one of the few Bundesliga clubs where you don’t need to be a member to buy tickets (members just get priority access and discounts). The official online shop is the safest place to buy; for popular matches, check when general sale opens ahead of time.

Stadium tours run weekend afternoons at 1pm, €9 for adults (free for kids 6 and under) — covering the players’ tunnel, pitch, away locker room, press conference room, and VIP areas. Köpenick Castle, the old town, and a riverside walk along the Dahme are all within walking distance.

Union Berlin is famous for its working-class East Berlin fan culture — the standing terrace behind the goal, “Waldseite,” is known for the same people standing in the same spot for decades.
