SV Elversberg is a club based in Spiesen-Elversberg, promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time in club history for the 2026-27 season. Their home ground is the Ursapharm-Arena an der Kaiserlinde, with a capacity of around 10,000.
Seating Guide
One of the smallest grounds in the Bundesliga, its compact size keeps the stands close to the pitch for an intimate matchday experience.
Tickets
The safest way to buy tickets is directly through the club’s official website. Popular matches tend to sell out quickly, so check availability as soon as your travel dates are set.
With the club from a town of barely 3,000 people making its first-ever top-flight appearance, the whole community rallies behind the team for a modest but fiercely warm atmosphere.

💡 Insider Tips
🚌 Transport
The nearest train stations are Neunkirchen (Saar) or Saarbrücken Hauptbahnhof, from where you transfer to a bus or taxi. Bus R6 passes through the “Elversberg Kaiserlinde” stop. On matchdays, park-and-ride shuttle buses run every 15 minutes from two points in Neunkirchen (one for home fans, one for away fans).
🏨 Accommodation
Options are very limited given the small-town setting. In Spiesen-Elversberg itself there’s vevio – Hotel & Events, and in Neunkirchen there’s Holiday Inn Express Neunkirchen and Hotel Am Zoo; if you’re flexible, widening your search to Saarbrücken (about 15km away) is also an option.
🎟️ Tickets — especially scarce in this first season
Stadium expansion work means the 2026/27 season has an extremely small allotment of day tickets, and even those are members-only. Current capacity sits at roughly 10,000 under a temporary exception, with a planned expansion to 15,500 seats by spring 2027. Any tickets members don’t claim may surface through the official online shop’s “Club Sale” secondary channel — or you can inquire directly at the fan shop (Tue–Thu 2–6pm, Fri 10am–noon).
🗺️ Tourism Tie-in
This small town in the Saarland region has a prehistory-themed museum, “GONDWANA – Das Praehistorium,” nearby. Given the club’s size, it likely doesn’t run its own stadium tour or museum.
🎁 Club Perks
Founded in 1907, the club won the 2. Bundesliga in 2025-26 to reach the Bundesliga for the first time ever, becoming the 59th club to ever play in the league. With a stadium capacity of just 10,000, it offers a closer proximity to the players than any other Bundesliga ground.
💡 Insider Tips
Payment methods may vary by stand, so bring both card and cash to be safe. Food options include bratwurst, meatballs, pretzels, and Margherita pizza. Given the small stadium size, away-fan allocations are also limited — if you’re planning to attend as a visiting-team supporter, it’s worth contacting the club directly beforehand.
