A direct tram runs from Freiburg Hauptbahnhof to the stadium (Europa-Park Stadion) about every 10 minutes, taking roughly 10 minutes. Service is boosted on matchdays from 3.5 hours before kickoff until 2.5 hours after the final whistle. Match ticket holders ride the greater Freiburg (RVF) public transit network for free from 5 hours before kickoff to 3 hours after.
🏨 Accommodation
There aren’t many large hotels within walking distance of the stadium, so staying near Freiburg Hauptbahnhof or the old town and taking the direct 10-minute tram is the most practical approach. The main station itself is just 5–10 minutes on foot from the old town, making it easy to combine with sightseeing.
