Take bus 4 or 6 from Paderborn Hauptbahnhof to the “Arena/Alme Aue” stop, about a 1-minute walk from there. Direct shuttle buses also run from the main station on matchdays.

Welcome Hotel Paderborn is the closest, just a few minutes’ walk from the stadium. Options with good transit connections listed on the club’s official site include IntercityHotel (13–19 minutes to the stadium) and B&B Hotels.
🎟️ Tickets — the toughest of the three promoted clubs
Starting in 2026/27, home tickets are distributed entirely through a lottery system (Losverfahren, via the TIXX Select portal) — members only, applications open online about 3 weeks before each match, with a limit of 2 tickets per person. Between the promotion buzz and a stadium capacity of just 15,000, it’s genuinely very difficult for a general visitor to get tickets through normal channels. Looking into away-ticket routes as a visiting-team supporter may actually be more realistic.

Paderborn’s old town has a medieval imperial palace (Kaiserpfalz) and a 13th-century cathedral (its tower reaching 92m, famous for the “Three-Rabbit Window”). The Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum, said to be the world’s largest computer museum, and Neuhaus Castle with its baroque gardens are also worth a visit — the mix of IT history and medieval architecture is what defines Paderborn as a destination.
