It’s about a 16-minute tram ride from Gelsenkirchen Hauptbahnhof. On matchdays, a direct shuttle bus runs from the station’s south exit to the arena.

🎟️ Tickets — sellouts are common
Sales go season-ticket holders → members → general sale (freier Verkauf), and Schalke 04 has sold out for years running, leaving very little inventory by the final stage. Games against clubs like Bayern Munich have sold out even during the members’ presale phase. Visitors are better off targeting less high-profile matchups and checking when general sale opens on the official ticket shop (tickets.schalke04.de) ahead of time.
