Kim Ki-dong Shares Song Story
FC Seoul manager Kim Ki-dong shared a lighthearted story about former player Song Min-kyu ahead of the September 5 match against Incheon. Kim said the squad learned via group chat that Song’s new club’s manager had been sacked right after his transfer to Portugal’s CD Nacional, and joked with Song to “just come back since you’re not even registered yet” — to which Song replied he couldn’t possibly do that. Seoul let Song leave without a transfer fee last month, honoring his wish to pursue a move to Europe. Kim went on to guide Seoul to their fourth straight win that day.
