Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors is a K League 1 professional football club based in Jeonju. Their home stadium is Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

Seating Guide

The stadium’s roof is designed to evoke a traditional Jeonju folding fan, and its support columns resemble sotdae (traditional bird-topped poles). The N Stand (north) saw its standing supporter section more than double during a 2022 renovation, effectively making it the heart of the home cheering section, while away fans are assigned to a separate section (roughly 7,000 seats), with the upper tier not sold. All seats were replaced with wider, foldable chairs in 2022.

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors’s supporters group is known as “매드그린보이즈(Mad Green Boys),” well known for organizing chants and large tifo displays behind the goal at every home match. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere near this section.

🚌 Getting Around

If traveling by express/intercity bus, the Honam Jeil-mun bus stop is right next to the stadium. There’s no direct bus from Jeonju Station, so one transfer is needed; bus 101 connects the KTX station, Jeonbuk University, the stadium, and the bus terminal. Since most Jeonju city buses run one-way loops, some routes detour or turn back early on home game days, so check your direction carefully.

Member early booking opens at 11am, 6 days before the game; general booking opens at 11am, 5 days before. Jeonju World Cup Stadium is the only K League ground with a dedicated away-fan section, so away tickets are limited and can sell out fast.

🗺️ City Pass Bundling

Jeonju Hanok Village runs several free guided tours daily (in Korean, starting from the main gate of Gyeonggijeon Shrine, about an hour) along a route through Gyeonggijeon-Jeondong Cathedral-Jeonju Hyanggyo-Jeonju Stream.

💡 Insider Tips

The club runs a Fan Experience Center and Korea’s first “club museum,” reflecting strong fan service. Upper-level seats near the front of the second deck have good sightlines, and the southeast corner has around a dozen food trucks (chicken, takoyaki, hot dogs, etc.). Taxis can be hard to find after games, so budget extra time.
