The stadium was built using a “sunken bowl” design, with the pitch set 14m below ground level to block Jeju’s notoriously strong winds. Starting in 2025, it introduced the K League’s first “All-Fan Zone,” a neutral section where home and away fans sit together, expanded to 7 sections for the 2026 season (large flags, drums, and other cheering gear are restricted, and fans must agree in advance to a mutual-respect cheering policy). The section opposite the main stand (E) has no roof, so keep that in mind on hot days.
