Overview
FC Anyang was founded in 2013, when Korea introduced its two-tier K League 1/K League 2 system, giving Anyang — which had been without a football club since its former resident club, Anyang LG Cheetahs, relocated to Seoul in 2004 — a team of its own again after nine years.
Anyang won the K League 2 title in 2024, earning its first-ever promotion to K League 1 eleven years after its founding.
The club’s home ground is Anyang Sports Complex.

Seating Guide
After promotion to K League 1 brought a surge in fans, the club expanded its supporters’ section (S section temporary seating) from 538 to 957 seats. Starting in the second half of the 2026 season, the K League’s newly introduced “neutral cheering section” — created to improve treatment of away fans — was piloted for the first time at this stadium’s north gate, creating a section where home and away fans can sit together without cheering gear like flags or drums.
