FC Seoul is a K League 1 professional football club based in Seoul. Their home stadium is Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Seating Guide

The N Stand (north) is the heart of FC Seoul’s supporter section, where most fans stand throughout the match; the W Stand (west) is the premium section closest to the team benches; and the E Stand (east) offers solid, comfortable views for general seating. The S Stand (south) is reserved for away fans. For good value with a clear view, go with the E Stand; for a close-up of the players, the W Stand; and for the most passionate atmosphere, the N Stand.

Cheering Culture

FC Seoul’s supporters group is known as “수호신(Suhoshin),” well known for organizing chants and large tifo displays behind the goal at every home match. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere near this section.

🚌 Getting Around

Take exit 2 or 3 at World Cup Stadium Station (Line 6), just a 3-minute walk. To avoid the post-game crush, try walking a stop or two in the opposite direction (toward Mapo-gu Office or Digital Media City) before boarding.

🏨 Lodging

Stanford Hotel Seoul (Sangam-dong, closest to the stadium), L7 Hongdae (2-minute walk from Hongik Univ. Station), and RYSE Hongdae (4-minute walk from Hongik Univ. Station) are options with verified visitor reviews. From Hongdae, the stadium is roughly a 20-minute transit ride.

Book through the official website/app or Ticketlink (Payco supported). There’s a “foreigner” registration option, but it requires phone verification. With a 60,000-seat capacity and average attendance around 29,000, buying at the gate is relatively easy.

💡 Insider Tips

Section E suits first-timers and families, Section W is close to the field but exposed to rain, and the lower N section is where the hardcore supporters sit. Beer inside the stadium is sold only at GS25 convenience stores, and plastic bottles over 600ml aren’t allowed in. There’s also a reservation-only stadium tour (1,000 won, 4 times daily) — note this is a facility tour, not a match ticket.
