The halo atop the 230-foot “Big A” sign lights up after home wins, and the “Rally Monkey” (introduced June 6, 2000 — footage of an actual monkey named Katie jumping, played alongside House of Pain’s “Jump Around”) became a nationally famous rally symbol during the team’s 2002 World Series championship run.

💡 Insider Tips

🚌 Getting Around

The Metrolink “Angels Express” runs for 49 weeknight home games in the 2026 season (round trip $7 for adults). It departs from stations like Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo to ARTIC (the Anaheim transit hub), from where it’s a walk to the stadium. ARTIC also connects to Amtrak Pacific Surfliner.

🏨 Lodging

TownePlace Suites Anaheim Maingate (10-minute walk), Ayres Hotel Anaheim (13-minute walk), and Embassy Suites Anaheim-Orange (14-minute walk) are walkable, with good sidewalks along the way.

🎟️ Tickets

Primary sales are through Ticketmaster, with StubHub as the official resale partner. Tickets start as low as $2 and average around $25 — complete sellouts are rare. There’s also a monthly “Big A Pass” subscription ($49/month for all home games).

💡 Insider Tips

The stadium is fully cashless, and the third-base side is recommended for shade at day games. Helmet nachos and Cathy’s Cookies are popular concession items.
