Vissel Kobe begins summer camp in Sapporo

On July 13, 2026, J1 side Vissel Kobe took part in a welcome ceremony at Shirahatayama Stadium in Sapporo as part of their summer training camp. Hokkaido officials presented local products — including 15 kg of Ezo deer meat and Sapporo watermelon — to the team; the club started camp on July 12 and will stay through July 25, with a pre-season friendly against Consadole Sapporo on July 18. Defender Gotoku Sakai expressed gratitude, saying he is thankful to train in such a great environment and aims to repay fans with good performances. The city and prefecture’s hospitality will continue during the camp as the squad prepares for the league’s August restart.
