Club Overview
Nagoya Grampus (formerly Nagoya Grampus Eight) are based in Nagoya, Aichi, founded in 1939 as a Toyota Motor Corp. company team. Their home, Toyota Stadium, features a retractable roof styled after traditional temple architecture, with a capacity of about 44,400.
Seating Guide
As a purpose-built football stadium, it’s raked at up to 38 degrees so rear rows keep clear sightlines, and all seats have backrests. The stadium has Main/Back stands plus goal-end cheering zones.
Tickets
Official tickets can be purchased through the club’s website or the English-language Pia site.
This site is mainly in Japanese — here's how to get through it
- On the ticket site, click your desired match date.
- Choose a seating zone — pricing for each zone is shown directly on the site.
- Sign up or log in, then pick your seat and complete the payment.
- Some clubs check ID against the buyer's name at entry, so bring your passport along with the ticket.
Tip: in Chrome, right-click the page and choose "Translate to English" to read button labels instantly.
Food Guide
Around the stadium you’ll find a variety of restaurants. Check the button below for a real, location-based list.
Cheer Culture
After a 2024 crest redesign (the first change in 24 years), the club uses “Grampus Red,” “Grampus Yellow,” and “Grampus Gold” brand colors. The rivalry with Urawa Red Diamonds is documented as genuinely intense (a 2023 Emperor’s Cup clash between supporters).
