San Francisco opened the season with a 27-7 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL’s first regular-season game in Australia. Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes and finished with 205 yards; Deebo Samuel, Mike Evans and Demarcus Robinson caught TDs before 100,021 fans at the MCG.
