Club Overview

The Miami Dolphins were founded in 1966 as an AFL expansion team and joined the NFL in 1970. In the 1972 season, the club went 17-0 and won the Super Bowl, completing the only perfect, undefeated season in NFL history, and it won another Super Bowl the following year.

The Miami Dolphins are an AFC East franchise based in Miami, Florida, holding the legendary distinction of the NFL’s only perfect season — a 17-0 record in 1972.

Seating Guide

Hard Rock Stadium is an open-air venue, but a large canopy roof shields most of the seating bowl from sun and rain.

Food Guide

Around the stadium you’ll find Miami’s multicultural food scene, including plenty of Caribbean cuisine.

Cheer Culture

The 1972 Dolphins remain the only team in NFL history to complete a perfect season, going 17-0. To this day, surviving members of that team gather and pop champagne the moment the last undefeated team in the league loses each season — celebrating that their record survives another year.

💡 Insider Tips

🚌 Getting There

Hard Rock Stadium has no on-site day-of parking, so passes must be bought in advance. Only Lot 70 (Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Fort Lauderdale) and Lot 95 (Golden Glades Parking Garage) sell same-day, and the complimentary GEICO HRS Express shuttle from there (running 3 hours before kickoff until 75 minutes after the game, via the Florida Turnpike to bypass traffic) drops you at the stadium’s northwest entrance. A round-trip shuttle also runs from the Aventura Brightline station, and Miami-Dade Transit route 297 (Hard Rock Stadium Express) runs direct from downtown.

🏨 Where to Stay

South Beach or downtown Miami hotels work well if you also want to sightsee, but the stadium is over 30 minutes away by car. If you’re not renting a car, staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Fort Lauderdale (where Lot 70 is) and taking the shuttle is another option.

🗺️ Nearby Sightseeing

South Beach’s Art Deco District and Little Havana pair naturally with a Dolphins game visit.

🎁 Club Perks

Miami has a deep roster of Latin American players and fans, with active Spanish-language broadcasts and fan programs. No specific Korean-player connection has been confirmed.

💡 Insider Tips

Because of Florida’s humid heat, it’s worth checking whether your seats are shaded for early-season (September–October) home games.
