Club Overview

The Cleveland Browns were founded in 1946 as a charter member of the AAFC, named after their first head coach, Paul Brown. After winning four straight AAFC championships, the club won the NFL title in its very first season in the league in 1950, then again in 1954 and 1955, establishing itself as one of the dominant teams of early professional football.

The Cleveland Browns are an AFC North franchise based in Cleveland, Ohio, a storied franchise with multiple championships including the pre-NFL AAFC era.

Seating Guide

Huntington Bank Field is an open-air venue on the shore of Lake Erie, with a move to a domed stadium in Brookpark planned for 2029.

Tickets

Official tickets are available at clevelandbrowns.com.

Food Guide

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame sits right next to the stadium, great for combining with sightseeing.

Cheer Culture

The “Dawg Pound” began in the mid-1980s when Browns cornerbacks Hanford Dixon and Frank Minnifield started referring to the defense as “dogs.” Fan John “Big Dawg” Thompson carried the theme into the stands, and the tradition of fans in dog masks barking through every play was born — it still lives on in the east end zone today.
