New signing Jermaine scores twice in friendly

Yesterday (July 15, 2026), J1 side Shimizu S‑Pulse won 3–1 in a training match in Austria against Ukrainian top‑division club Polissya Zhytomyr. New forward Jermaine (ジャーメイン 良) scored two goals in the camp’s first practice match and was central to the comeback. He finished a cross with a direct strike in the 13th minute and added a second after reacting to a turnover and a through pass in the 36th minute. Jermaine said he wants to use the camp to build form and “produce numbers” once the season starts; he joined Shimizu from Sanfrecce Hiroshima in June. Club reports and local coverage described the match as a valuable chance to test tactics and new personnel.
