Bucheon downs ‘nemesis’ Jeonbuk again
Promoted side Bucheon FC 1995 beat Jeonbuk Hyundai 3-2 on August 16 in a home match at Bucheon Stadium. Bucheon struck twice in quick succession through Seong Ye-geon in the 9th minute and Kim Jong-woo in the 14th, then added an insurance goal from Gallego in the 55th minute. Jeonbuk fought back with goals from Choi Woo-jin and Park Ji-soo but couldn’t complete the comeback. The win gave Bucheon a 2-1-0 record against Jeonbuk this season and moved them up the table with 27 points.

Incheon and Gimcheon draw 1-1 after disallowed goal drama
Incheon United and Gimcheon Sangmu drew 1-1 on August 16 at Incheon Football Stadium.
