Avispa Fukuoka are based in Fukuoka City. Originally based in Shizuoka, the club relocated to Fukuoka in response to local fan demand for a hometown team. Their home, Best Denki Stadium (officially “Higashi-Hirao Park Hakatanomori Football Stadium”), holds about 21,600.

The “Avispa Ultras” have deep roots, given that fan demand for a local team was itself part of what drove the club’s relocation to Fukuoka; distinctively, their ultras draw stylistic influence from South American supporter culture rather than European-style traditions. 🚌 Getting Around — stadium name correction
The stadium’s official name is “Best Denki Stadium” (since 2020, naming rights expiring January 2026 — “Best Amenity Stadium” is Sagan Tosu’s stadium, unrelated to Avispa). The typical route is subway to Fukuoka Airport station, then a Nishitetsu bus to “Higashi-Hirao Koen Iriguchi” and a 5-minute walk; a gameday shuttle bus (about 8–10 minutes, ¥210) also runs.
🏨 Lodging
Hotel LaLa TSUKASA Fukuoka Hakata is closest to the stadium (about an 11-minute walk), though staying near Hakata station and taking a bus is the practical approach.

Use the official “J.League Ticket” site, with priority sales for TEAM NAYBee members followed by general sale. A Busan-Hakata ferry route (the New Camellia, about 11.5 hours) makes this the most directly accessible J.League club for Korean tourists — reachable by boat.
