Cheer Culture

The team color “Shiko” (“brilliant purple”) reflects the club’s identity since its earlier name “Kyoto Purple Sanga,” chosen because purple was an imperial color befitting Kyoto’s history as Japan’s ancient capital. The club’s fan culture emphasizes unity and family-friendly support rather than European-style ultras confrontation.
