Nagoya Grampus (formerly Nagoya Grampus Eight) are based in Nagoya, Aichi, founded in 1939 as a Toyota Motor Corp. company team. Their home, Toyota Stadium, features a retractable roof styled after traditional temple architecture, with a capacity of about 44,400.

🚌 Getting Around — not downtown Nagoya, but Toyota City
Toyota Stadium isn’t in central Nagoya, but in Toyota City. It’s about a 15–17 minute walk from Meitetsu’s Toyotashi station or Aichi Kanjo Railway’s Shin-Toyota station. From Nagoya station, it’s about 50 minutes via the Higashiyama subway line to Fushimi, transferring to the Tsurumai Line, then a direct connection on the Meitetsu Toyota Line from Akaike station.
🏨 Lodging
Toyota Prestige Hotel is closest to the stadium (about a 4-minute walk), with Hotel Toyota Castle (2 minutes from Toyotashi station) and other business hotels clustered around Toyotashi station.

Use the standard J.League purchase system — J.League Ticket, fan club priority sales, Ticket Pia (linked with 7-Eleven) — with overseas credit cards accepted.

That said, with about 50 minutes of travel between Nagoya station and Toyotashi station, combining downtown Nagoya sightseeing with an away match in one day is a bit tight.
