Mito Hollyhock are a club based in Mito, Ibaraki, who spent a record 25 consecutive years in J2 before finally winning the title and earning their first-ever J1 promotion for 2026. Their home, K’s denki Stadium Mito, holds about 12,000.

The name “Hollyhock” comes from the family crest (mon) of the Tokugawa clan. Historically a lower-attendance club (4,000–6,000 fans per match), it’s known more for its community-rooted, underdog identity than large-scale ultras culture.
