Club Overview

JEF United Chiba (officially JEF United Ichihara Chiba) are a J1 League club based in Chiba City and Ichihara. Their home, Fukuda Denshi Arena (“Fukuari”), holds about 18,500, and the club returned to J1 for 2026 via the promotion playoff.

Seating includes the premium “JEF Seat” (top tier of the Main Stand) and SS/S reserved sections, with home standing areas concentrated at the East goal-end and northwest corner (the vocal “chanting zone”).

Cheer Culture

The club traces its roots to Furukawa Electric Soccer Club (founded 1946), the first Japanese club to win the Asian Club Championship (1986–87). Mascots are Akita-dog brothers Jeffy and Unity.

🚌 Getting Around — promoted to J1

The club secured promotion back to J1 for the first time in 17 years by winning the December 2025 J1 promotion playoff final (in J1 for the 2026/27 season). The closest station is JR Soga station’s east exit, about an 8–10 minute walk, roughly 10 minutes from Chiba station and 15 from Kaihinmakuhari station.

Hotel Mystays Soga (with a sauna and natural hot spring facility) is just a 1-minute walk from Soga station’s east exit, offering excellent access.

🎟️ Tickets

Sold via JEF Ticket and 7-Eleven multi-copy machines, with overseas credit card purchases also available through the English-language J.League Ticket site.

🗺️ Tourism Tie-in

Large shopping malls like Harbor City Soga are near the stadium in Chiba’s Soga Sports Park, and Tokyo Disney Resort (Maihama station) is about 35 minutes away, making it easy to pair with a broader sightseeing itinerary.
