Seoul Chase 4th Straight Win vs. Winless Gwangju
League leaders FC Seoul travel to Gwangju World Cup Stadium on the 30th to face bottom-placed Gwangju FC. Seoul have won three straight against Daejeon, Anyang and Bucheon and lead second-place Jeonbuk Hyundai by 15 points with 53. Gwangju, meanwhile, conceded late to draw with Gangwon on the 26th, extending their winless streak to 23 matches (8 draws, 15 losses). Seoul manager Kim Gi-dong said after the Bucheon win that the title “is coming into view.” Patrick Klimala, who has scored in three straight matches, will look to keep his scoring streak alive against Gwangju.
