FC Tokyo Welcomes Back Anzai Soma From Loan in Portugal
FC Tokyo announced on August 4 the return of midfielder Soma Anzai, 23, from his loan spell at Portugal’s second-division club Penafiel. During the loan, Anzai made 14 appearances and scored one goal, and the purchase option in the loan deal was not exercised. On his first day back with the club, he scored in a training mini-game.
