Overview
Pohang Steelers is a K League 1 professional football club based in Pohang. Their home stadium is Pohang Steel Yard. Founded in 1973, they are Korea’s oldest professional football club and a foundational part of K League history.
Seating Guide
With no running track, this stadium is known as one of the closest to the pitch in the K League. Since the 2015 season, the S section has been home supporters’ seating and the N section the away section — the two swapped places. A major 2025–2026 renovation significantly expanded both the supporting zone (N stand) and the premium seats (W stand), and the S section now has private lounges for up to 7 people.

Food Nearby
Around the stadium you’ll typically find simple food stalls and food trucks, and a short walk will take you into Pohang’s wider restaurant district. It’s a good idea to check a map app in advance for exact locations.
Cheering Culture
As with K League football generally, Pohang Steelers’s fans behind the goal (the supporters’ end) lead drum-driven chants and flag-waving. First-time foreign visitors can easily join in just by following the rhythm.
