Yesterday (July 12, 2026), several Meiji Yasuda J1 clubs began summer training camps for the 2026/27 season, holding open practices and community events. Yokohama F. Marinos announced public sessions in Miyazaki from July 12–19 and stated that, taking temperature and safety into account, post-practice interactions would be limited to high-fives. Vissel Kobe also started a camp in Sapporo on July 12, with local welcome ceremonies and gifts of regional foodstuffs as part of community engagement. For fans it was a valuable chance to see players up close before the season and a positive story for both clubs and their host communities.
