Rasmussen’s ALCS gem

Drew Rasmussen tossed seven innings, allowing one run on four hits while striking out six as the Rays beat the Guardians 3-1 in ALCS Game 5. The victory gives Tampa Bay a 3-2 series lead and sends the next game back to Tropicana Field; Bryan Baker earned the save. Rasmussen’s stretch since the All-Star break (11-0, 1.73 ERA) has been a cornerstone of the Rays’ October surge.
