The Atlanta Braves are an MLB National League (East Division) team based in Cumberland, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. Their home, Truist Park (opened 2017), is part of “The Battery Atlanta” mixed-use development and holds 41,084 fans.
Seating Guide
The ballpark sits at the heart of “The Battery Atlanta” development, directly connected to a wide range of shopping and entertainment venues.
Tickets
Official tickets can be purchased at mlb.com/braves/tickets/single-game-tickets.
The “Tomahawk Chop” (a chopping motion with an accompanying chant, since 1991) is known as the team’s signature fan tradition, but it is also a contested one — Native American organizations have criticized it as dehumanizing (the team removed “Chop On” signage in 2019). Visitors may want to be aware of this context.

💡 Insider Tips
🚌 Getting Around
Truist Park isn’t actually in the city of Atlanta — it’s in the Cumberland area of Cobb County, so MARTA (Atlanta’s subway/bus system) doesn’t reach it directly. Take MARTA bus 12 (boarding at the Midtown station) to the Cumberland Mall transit center, then transfer to the free CobbLinc Cumberland Circulator (Blue/Green routes) to reach The Battery Atlanta and the ballpark.
🏨 Lodging
The Omni and Aloft hotels sit inside The Battery Atlanta complex that surrounds the ballpark, just a 2-minute walk to the gates. The Renaissance Atlanta Waverly and Sheraton Suites Galleria, connected by a pedestrian bridge, are also walkable.
🎟️ Tickets
Since 2024, SeatGeek has been the Braves’ official ticket marketplace.
🎁 Club Perks
The club runs “Los Bravos Night” (now in its 9th year, with a fully translated Spanish site and podcast) and Asian Pacific Heritage Night (including K-pop music), the most concrete multilingual investment we found among these three clubs.
💡 Insider Tips
Bags are generally not allowed inside, with exceptions only for small clutches (max 5×9 in.) and medical/diaper bags. Oversized bags can go into a paid mobile locker (around $12+). The Chop House gate on the right side of The Battery tends to be less crowded, and the 200 level on the first-base side is shaded. Fox Bros. BBQ’s pulled pork sandwich is a standout food item.
