Cheer Culture

“The King’s Court,” introduced in 2011, was a dedicated cheering section for ace Félix Hernández’s starts, with fans wearing yellow shirts and holding up “K” cards for every strikeout. After Félix’s perfect game in 2012, it expanded ballpark-wide as “The Supreme Court.”

💡 Insider Tips

🚌 Getting Around

Link light rail Line 1 stops at Stadium station or International District/Chinatown station, both walkable (flat $3 adult fare regardless of distance, free for under-18s). Sounder trains also run special game-day service, about a 0.5-mile walk from King Street station.

🏨 Lodging

Silver Cloud Hotel Seattle-Stadium is right across from the ballpark, and the Pioneer Square district (citizenM Seattle Pioneer Square, etc.) is also within walking distance.

🎟️ Tickets

Primary sales are through Ticketmaster, and SeatGeek has been the official fan-to-fan resale marketplace since 2024.

💡 Insider Tips

The retractable roof works more like an “umbrella” than a sealed dome, so fresh air still gets in even when it’s raining. Garlic fries are the signature item, and the “Pen” gate toward center field opens 2 hours early with a 30-minute happy hour offering discounted beer and food. Bags are limited to a clear 12x6x12 in. bag or a 1-gallon zip bag, with opaque clutches capped at 4.5×6.5 inches.
