Club Overview

The Atlanta Falcons were founded in 1966 as an expansion team. The club has reached the Super Bowl twice, after the 1998 and 2016 seasons, but finished as runner-up both times and has yet to win a championship.

The Atlanta Falcons are an NFC South franchise based in Atlanta, Georgia, also well known for a Super Bowl 28-3 lead that was famously blown in the 2016 season.

Seating Guide

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a state-of-the-art venue famous for its unique 8-panel retractable roof shaped like a camera aperture.

Tickets

Official tickets are available at atlantafalcons.com.

Food Guide

Located within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola, it pairs well with sightseeing.

Cheer Culture

“Rise Up” began in 2010 as a large-scale branding campaign by the team, involving an ad agency, actor Samuel L. Jackson, and a gospel choir. Unlike most fan traditions that emerge organically, this one started as deliberate marketing — but it has genuinely taken root among fans since.

💡 Insider Tips

🚌 Getting There

MARTA rapid rail’s Vine City and SEC stations sit right at the stadium (flat $2.50 fare regardless of distance).

🏨 Where to Stay

Downtown Atlanta gives easy MARTA access to the stadium. Hotels in the Centennial Olympic Park district (0.2-0.7 miles, a 5-15 minute walk) let you skip parking and rideshare hassles entirely — Hotel Phoenix Atlanta (6-minute walk), Reverb by Hard Rock Atlanta (7-minute walk), and Signia by Hilton Atlanta (7-minute walk) are popular picks.

🎟️ Tickets

Official tickets are available at atlantafalcons.com/tickets. Compared to more popular teams, sellout pressure is lower, so face-value tickets are relatively easy to find.

🗺️ Nearby Sightseeing

The Georgia Aquarium (adults $35.95, open daily 9am-8/9pm) and World of Coca-Cola (from $28.26 for adults, open daily 9am-7pm) are both within walking distance, making them easy to pair with a game visit.

🎁 Club Perks

Younghoe Koo played for the Falcons from 2019 to 2025 (released September 2025, now with another team).

💡 Insider Tips

Official parking lots are entirely cashless and require advance reservation — don’t expect day-of purchase.
