Club Overview

The New England Patriots were founded in 1959 as the Boston Patriots and competed from the AFL’s inaugural 1960 season, taking the name New England in 1971. Under Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick, the club won six Super Bowls, tying the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most championships in NFL history.

The New England Patriots are an AFC East franchise based in Foxborough, Massachusetts, one of the NFL’s greatest dynasties with six Super Bowl titles under the Tom Brady–Bill Belichick era of the 2000s-2010s.

Seating Guide

Gillette Stadium is an open-air venue directly attached to Patriot Place, a shopping and entertainment complex, making it easy to spend time before or after the game.

Cheer Culture

The “Patriots Dynasty” — six Super Bowl titles under Tom Brady and Bill Belichick between 2001 and 2019 — is widely regarded as the greatest sustained run of success in NFL history, and pride from each of those championship seasons still runs deep among fans at Gillette Stadium.

💡 Insider Tips

🚌 Getting There

Gillette Stadium is in Foxborough, so the easiest route from Boston is the MBTA special event train (South Station to Foxboro Station, round trip $20, a short walk from the station to Lot 4 right next to the venue). Trains depart roughly 2 hours before kickoff and can sell out same-day if you do not book ahead. If driving, take I-95 to Exit 9, then Route 1 south for about 4 miles. Uber/Lyft pickup is at Lot 15, closest to the CVS Health Gate.

🏨 Where to Stay

Two hotels sit right inside the Patriot Place complex next to the stadium — the Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn Foxborough — both walkable to the gates. Flying into Providence T.F. Green Airport instead of Boston Logan usually means cheaper hotel rates.

🎟️ Tickets

Official tickets and verified resale are available at patriots.com/tickets (powered by Ticketmaster).

🗺️ Nearby Sightseeing

Patriot Place, the shopping, dining, and entertainment complex right next to the stadium, is a good way to spend time before or after the game, and Boston’s Freedom Trail or Cambridge (home to Harvard and MIT) pair well with a game-day trip.

🎁 Club Perks

No specific Korean connection has been confirmed, but as a six-time champion franchise, the stadium tour (including the Patriots Hall of Fame) is well developed.

💡 Insider Tips

Free general parking is available across Route 1 from the stadium, a good option if paid parking feels like too much. Foxborough itself is a small town, so public transit options besides the MBTA special train are limited.
