Club Overview

The Cleveland Cavaliers were founded in 1970 as an expansion team alongside the Portland Trail Blazers and Buffalo Braves. In 2016, led by LeBron James, the club fell behind the Golden State Warriors three games to one before winning three straight to complete the first-ever comeback from a 3-1 deficit in NBA Finals history, capturing the franchise’s first championship.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are an NBA Eastern Conference (Central Division) team based in Cleveland, Ohio. Their home, Rocket Arena (renamed February 2025), holds 20,562 fans.

Seating Guide

Seating includes 100-level premium center sections (108–112, 126–129) and corners (102–106, 114–116, 130–134), plus Club/Loge sections (C107–C110, C124–127). Upper-bowl sections 216–217 behind the basket are nicknamed “Loudville.”

🚌 Getting Around

The arena was renamed “Rocket Arena” in February 2025 (formerly Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse). RTA rapid transit to Tower City station connects to the arena via an indoor walkway (open 4 hours before the game, up to 3 hours after).

Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown (2-minute walk) is closest, with 15 hotels within a 16-minute walk, including Hilton Cleveland Downtown (0.4 miles).

Ticketmaster is the official partner. The 2024-25 season drew a total attendance of 796,712 (6th in the NBA), the same year the team went 64-18 for the league’s best regular-season record — demand was high.

💡 Insider Tips

Bags under 14x14x6 inches are allowed, including backpacks and diaper bags, though clear bags are recommended. The arena is fully cashless. Parking-lot exit after games can take 45 minutes to an hour, so pre-booking parking is recommended.
