On July 14, 2026 LaLiga published the official kick-off times for the first three rounds of the 2026/27 season. The start is scheduled for the weekend of August 15, with Deportivo Alavés vs Getafe announced as the opening match; at the same time, FC Barcelona’s and Real Madrid’s first-round fixtures have been postponed. Atlético chose to play its opener on August 19 to avoid a week with three matches in quick succession. Clubs such as Levante and Valencia will begin on different dates (Levante, August 16; Valencia, August 22). Check the full schedule in the official release.
