Getafe CF is a La Liga club based in Getafe, in the southern Madrid metro area. Their home ground is the Coliseum, with a capacity of around 16,500.

Seating Guide

The Coliseum is made up of Tribuna, Preferencia, Fondo Norte (away fans), and Fondo Sur. An ongoing renovation since 2025 will eventually expand capacity to 18,500. It’s accessible via Madrid Metro Line 12, Los Espartales station.

🚌 Getting Around

The MetroSur Line 12 Los Espartales station is the best option, a 5-minute walk. Cercanías C4’s Las Margaritas and C3’s El Casar stations also work, along with buses 441, 443, 448, 3, and 488.

🏨 Lodging

There’s essentially no walkable hotel (even the closest ones are about 1.9–2km away), so places like B&B Hotel Madrid Getafe and ibis Madrid Getafe are a 20–25 minute walk. Staying near Madrid Atocha and taking public transport is the practical option.

🎟️ Tickets

Getafe uniquely requires season ticket holders to be club members (there’s no general socio tier), so non-member purchases rely heavily on the secondary market (SeatPick, etc.).

💡 Insider Tips — construction notice

The stadium’s official name has been simply “Coliseum” since October 2023, dropping “Alfonso Pérez.” It’s been under a 28-month remodel since June 2025 (targeting completion by late 2027, expanding final capacity to 19,500), and while matches continue, 2026 visitors will see active construction behind the south goal and the south section of the east stand. There’s no public stadium tour — attending a match is the only way in.
