🚌 Getting Around — currently a temporary home

Real Betis is currently playing home matches at Estadio de la Cartuja, not Benito Villamarín (Villamarín is undergoing a €262 million rebuild that began in July 2025, targeting completion in 2028). The best route is the free dedicated “Lanzadera Betis” shuttle, running every 5 minutes from Line 1’s Blas Infante station starting 2 hours before kickoff; TUSSAM circular buses (2, C1, C2), the T1 tram, and the C-2 Cercanías commuter line (connecting to Santa Justa station) also work. After night matches, two free special trains run back to Santa Justa.

🏨 Lodging

The Hotel Exe Isla Cartuja (4-star) is a 5-minute walk from La Cartuja stadium, with many other hotels reachable via shuttle or metro connections.

🎟️ Tickets

Season ticket holders and “Soy Bético” members get priority (up to 2 seats) in the initial sales phase, and non-members can buy once member reservations close and general sale opens.

🗺️ Tourism Tie-in — tour currently suspended

The former Villamarín stadium tour (“Betis Tour Experience”) is currently suspended due to the rebuild, and isn’t expected to resume until after the 2028 completion. Old tour listings still floating around travel booking sites are outdated.

This all reflects the current La Cartuja experience — once Villamarín reopens, the once-famous pre-match bar culture around the Heliópolis neighborhood should return as well.
