Valencia CF is a La Liga club based in Valencia. Their home ground is Mestalla, with a capacity of around 49,430 — the 8th largest stadium in Spain.
Seating Guide
Mestalla is made up of Tribuna (West, the only covered stand), Grada/Preferencia (East), Fondo Nord (main singing end), and Fondo Sur, and is famous as one of the steepest stadiums in Europe.
Tickets
The safest way to buy tickets is directly through the club’s official website. Popular matches are often prioritized for season-ticket (abono) holders before general sale, so check availability as soon as your travel dates are set.
“Ultras Yomus,” founded in 1983, is based in Fondo Nord, and the club is well known by its nickname “Los Che.”

💡 Insider Tips
🚌 Getting Around
Metro lines 5 and 7 have a nearby Aragón station, with Facultats station (line 3) also close by. Buses along Avenida de Aragón include routes 10, 12, 80, 41, and 79, or take line 5 two stops from Xàtiva station downtown to Aragón, then walk about 10 minutes.
🏨 Lodging
Right by the stadium (0.1km) are several very close options, like Hostal Penalty Valencia.
🎟️ Tickets
For regular La Liga matches, signing up as a member gets you into general sale on the official site, though games against Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Atlético often sell out before general sale opens. Season tickets require prior “Socio VCF” registration, which opens online every July 2nd.
🗺️ Tourism Tie-in — important update
The Mestalla Forever Tour (from €9, about 1 hour, in Spanish and English) is, as its name suggests, a farewell tour ahead of the old Mestalla’s demolition. Construction on the new Nou Mestalla has resumed, targeting a summer 2027 opening, and 2026-27 has been officially announced as the final season at the old Mestalla. On matchdays, tours only run in the morning, and dressing room access is closed off.
💡 Insider Tips
Bags larger than A4 (21×30cm) aren’t allowed; only clear or small bags are permitted. With the stadium right in the city center, there are plenty of bars near Avenida de Suecia before the match.
