The Hiroshima Toyo Carp are a Central League club based in Hiroshima City, playing at the open-air Mazda Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima, opened in 2009 with a capacity of about 32,000.

🚌 Getting Around
It’s about a 10-minute walk from JR Hiroshima station’s south exit (flat route, English signage throughout, with shops and food stalls along the “Carp Road”). It’s also about a 10-minute walk from the Hiroden (tram) Matobacho stop, and just 3 minutes from the Matsuda Stadium-mae bus stop.
🏨 Lodging
Hiroshima Intelligent Hotel Stadium-mae is a 2-minute walk from the stadium, and Vessel Inn Hiroshima Ekimae is also walkable, roughly midway between the station and stadium.
🎟️ Tickets
Available online, at the stadium ticket office, and via convenience store terminals (7-Eleven/Lawson/FamilyMart). Prices range from ¥1,800 for the performance zone to ¥3,000–4,500 for infield reserved seats and ¥4,000–8,000 for “Sunakaburi” seats near the dugout. Since the official site registration process can be somewhat complex, convenience store terminals or Klook are recommended workarounds for foreign visitors.
🗺️ Tourism Tie-in
The Hiroshima Tabi Pass (covering the tram, buses, and the Miyajima ferry, plus digital discount coupons for sights and restaurants) and the Hiroshima Omotenashi Pass (HOP, offering discounts on the Peace Memorial Museum and more when bundled with lodging and transit) are both available. Note that the Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima aren’t walkable from the stadium — separate transport is needed.
