The Saitama Seibu Lions are a Pacific League club based in Tokorozawa, Saitama. Their home, Belluna Dome, was originally built open-air in 1979 and had a roof added in 1999, giving it a unique structure. Capacity is about 32,700.
Unusual for a “dome,” it has a roof but open sides behind the stands for natural ventilation. A 2021 renovation expanded seat variety from 14 to 28 types, including rare bullpen-front-row seats uncommon among NPB stadiums.
Tickets
Official tickets are available through the club’s ticketing site (“Lions Ticket”), requiring free membership or fan club registration.
Every player has a personal cheer song (sung live even on the road), with the crowd’s signature side-to-side swaying motion nicknamed “The Great Migration of the People.” “Chance Theme” songs even borrow melodies from Western tunes.

🚌 Getting Around
It’s a 3-minute walk from Seibukyujo-mae station on the Seibu Yamaguchi Line, about 40 minutes from Tokyo’s Ikebukuro station via the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. Starting in the 2026 season, on weekends and holidays only, buses run to Seibukyujo-mae from Tachikawa, Tamagawajosui, and Kamikitadai stations (about 12 minutes from Kamikitadai), and a temporary direct “Stadium Express” train also runs on gamedays.
🏨 Lodging
Hotel Kannonkaku is a 5-minute walk from both Seibukyujo-mae station and Belluna Dome, making it essentially the only genuinely walkable lodging near the stadium.
🎟️ Tickets
Using “Lions Ticket (web)” or the Belluna Dome ticket center requires signing up for a free “Lions Ticket member” account. Since spring 2025, all 6 Pacific League clubs jointly offer “Tickets in Japan,” allowing purchases via overseas credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay with multilingual customer support.
🗺️ Tourism Tie-in
Along the Seibu Railway line, Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park, Seibuen Amusement Park (home to “Godzilla the Ride”), and Tokorozawa Sakura Town (a manga/anime museum complex) combine well into a full-day itinerary.
💡 Insider Tips
Seibukyujo-mae station is essentially a dedicated stop for Belluna Dome, making it very easy to walk there. Since buses don’t run on weekdays, though, access drops significantly — foreign visitors are safer choosing a weekend or holiday game. Away fans are seated in the reserved right field section.
