Club Overview

Rayo Vallecano is a La Liga club based in the Vallecas district of Madrid. Their home ground is the Vallecas Stadium, with a capacity of around 14,708, one of the smallest in La Liga.

Seating Guide

Vallecas is made up of Preferencia (main), Lateral (popular with families), and Fondo Sur (home of the “Bukaneros” supporters, around 2,000 seats). Unusually, Fondo Norte has no seating, only advertising boards. The stands are famously close to the pitch.

Tickets

Unlike most La Liga clubs, Rayo Vallecano doesn’t run a standing online ticket store. Tickets for each match are announced separately as news posts on the club’s official site as the date approaches. Check the news section for that match’s price and on-sale time, or plan to buy at the Estadio de Vallecas box office on matchday if it isn’t sold out.

This site is mainly in Spanish — here's how to get through it

  1. On the ticket site, click your desired match date.
  2. Choose a seating zone — pricing for each zone is shown directly on the site.
  3. Sign up or log in, then pick your seat and complete the payment.
  4. Some clubs check ID against the buyer's name at entry, so bring your passport along with the ticket.

Tip: in Chrome, right-click the page and choose "Translate to English" to read button labels instantly.

Cheer Culture

Famous for its strong ties to the working-class Vallecas neighborhood, the club’s 2024 centenary song “El Rayo fui yo” has become a popular unofficial anthem among fans.
