KBO Cancels Entire Weekend Over Heat Wave
On August 6, the KBO held an emergency committee meeting with all 10 club presidents and player union officials, deciding to cancel all 15 games scheduled from August 7 to 9 at five stadiums (Jamsil, Suwon, Daejeon, Daegu, and Changwon) due to a record heat wave. The league will resume on August 11, with start times pushed back to 7 p.m. for the time being.
