The Samsung Lions are a KBO League team based in Daegu. Their home stadium, Daegu Samsung Lions Park, is known as one of the loudest, most passionate stadiums in the league.

Seating Guide

The VIP seats directly behind home plate are widely considered to have the best view, and unlike most stadiums, the lawn seating sits behind the first-base infield reserved seats rather than in the outfield. The rooftop table seats (added in 2017) and the SKY Yogibo Family Zone, furnished with bean bag chairs, are also popular. Note that the first-base side gets direct sunlight during day games, worth keeping in mind for weekend day-game bookings.

Inside the stadium (“Rapark must-eats”): the official fan pub House of Lions (1F, near the outfield entrance), Happy Cheese Smile (tteokbokki + fried snack combo, on floors 2/3/5), and Honam Wonjo Sikdang (Honam-style mixed raw fish salad).

Near the stadium: Sihu (premium Chinese) and Liancai (Chinese) are among the options.

Cheering Culture

The signature cheer song “El Dorado” was unusable for years due to a copyright dispute, and only returned in 2024 after the club negotiated a licensing deal. Since then, most new cheer songs are original compositions credited to “Honey Crew,” made in-house by the cheer squad.

Since 2021, fans sit and then stand together on cue during the cheer chant — a style that has spread all the way to the lawn seats farthest from the Blue Zone, earning the park a reputation as a “cheering paradise.” The cheerleading squad performs under the name “Blue Tinkers.”

🚌 Getting Around

Subway Line 2 Daegongwon Station exit 5 is a 1-minute walk — along with Jamsil, this is considered one of the closest stadiums to a subway station in the country. From Dongdaegu Station, buses 399 and 937 also run straight to the stadium.

🎟️ Tickets

Booking opens at 11am, 7 days before the game, and popular matchups can sell out the moment booking opens. Starting in the 2026 season, the per-person purchase limit rose to 6 tickets, and the booking cutoff changed to 4 hours before the game.

💡 Insider Tips

House of Lions, Happy Cheese Smile, Honam Original Restaurant, Mont Blanc de Paris (soft-serve in a cone), and Butterwood are considered the stadium’s must-eat food list. Parking is spacious.
