Hanwha fall 7-10 to NC in extras despite Kang Baek-ho’s go-ahead homer
The Hanwha Eagles lost 7-10 to the NC Dinos at home on August 30, extending their losing streak to six games. Trailing 0-4, Hanwha rallied behind Kang Baek-ho’s go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth inning and back-to-back solo shots from Kim Tae-yeon and Han Ji-yoon in the sixth to take a 7-4 lead, but the bullpen faltered and allowed the game to be tied in the eighth. A costly fielding error with two outs in the top of the 10th sealed the loss. Hanwha’s record fell to 49-62-3.
