Chunichi pushed runs across in the 4th and 6th to decide the game. Hanshin’s Oyama hit his 15th homer in the sixth but the comeback fell short. Attendance 36,671.

Carp rally for 8 runs in 5th to beat DeNA
On August 25, 2026 at Mazda Stadium the Hiroshima Toyo Carp edged the Yokohama DeNA BayStars 8-7. With the game tied early, Hiroshima exploded for an eight-run fifth inning to overturn the deficit. Tokuda earned the win, while DeNA’s Encarnacion hit his 10th homer as the visitors battled until the final innings. Attendance 25,478.

On August 25, 2026 at Belluna Dome the Saitama Seibu Lions beat the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters 3-1. Taira picked up his 10th win of the season, and Seibu’s bullpen held firm with Kainoh earning his 18th save. Nippon-Ham managed eight hits but scored just once. Attendance was 27,272.

On August 25, 2026 at Kyocera Dome the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles beat the Orix Buffaloes 5-1. Rakuten’s Ito (Tatsuki Ito) earned his first pro win (1-0), and Yasuda added a ninth-inning solo homer for insurance. Orix scored first, but Rakuten rallied for four runs in the sixth to take the lead. Attendance 25,018.
