Club Overview

Liverpool is a Premier League club based in Liverpool. Their home ground is Anfield, with a capacity of around 61,276.

Seating Guide

Anfield is made up of four stands, including the world-famous Spion Kop, plus the Main Stand, Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, and the Anfield Road End (away fans).

Tickets

The safest way to buy tickets is directly through the club’s official website. Popular matches are often prioritized for season-ticket holders before general sale, so check availability as soon as your travel dates are set.

Food Guide

Around the stadium you’ll find pubs and restaurants that are popular before and after matches. Check the button below for a real, location-based list.

Cheer Culture

World famous for the pre-kickoff mass singing of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by the entire home crowd — one of the most iconic traditions in football.

💡 Insider Tips

🚌 Getting Around

There’s no train station near Anfield, so buses are the main way in. The 917 Express shuttle from Commutation Row in the city center (every 10 minutes, about 15 minutes, £5 one-way) is the most convenient, along with regular routes 26, 17, 68/168, and 14/19.

🏨 Lodging

Walking-distance options include The Anfield Hotel (7 minutes), 128 Anfield Road (4 minutes), The Arc Hotel (7 minutes), and Glenbuck Hotel Anfield (8 minutes) — mostly small-scale accommodations.

🎟️ Tickets — a very demanding system

General sale has essentially disappeared — a membership credit system is the only real path in. Members with 13+ credits are guaranteed a ticket, 4–12 can enter the ballot for any game, and under 4 can only enter for select games. “Reds Ticket Sale” ballots run twice a year (July/November). From 2026, entry moves fully to NFC mobile tickets.

🗺️ Tourism Tie-in

The Stadium Tour and LFC Story museum run daily except on home matchdays, with audio guides in 13 languages including English, Spanish, Thai, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Arabic, Japanese, Norwegian, Dutch, and Portuguese.

🎁 Club Perks

Over 300 official supporters clubs (OLSC) exist across 100 countries, and international membership includes a 10% retail discount and a monthly VIP experience draw.

💡 Insider Tips

The club’s own advice: “get there as early as possible” — matchday is an all-day event that starts in the morning and runs late. From 2026, entry is fully digital/NFC, so charge your phone and download the app in advance.
