🚌 Getting Around

A dedicated St James Metro station sits right next to the stadium, and Monument station is also a 5-minute walk. The matchday-only X50 shuttle bus (£1.50 one-way) runs between MetroCentre and the stadium starting 2 hours before kickoff, and from May 2026 a free trial shuttle from Newcastle Great Park was also added.

🏨 Lodging

Several walkable options exist, including Sandman Signature Newcastle (about 250m, 10-minute walk), Newcastle City Haven (5 minutes), and Magpie Apartment (450m).

🎟️ Tickets

Paid membership (Mags+ £47 / Mags £37 / Junior Mags £20) grants entry to a ballot for purchase opportunities. An overseas-only “International Membership” provides access to both the ballot and general sale.

🗺️ Tourism Tie-in

Newcastle’s hop-on-hop-off city tour bus (day pass £12.50) passes St James’ Park, with a 20% discount tie-in for Newcastle Castle plus the NUFC stadium tour.

Away fans are seated in the upper Leazes Stand (north end), holding 1,500–3,000 seats. The Bigg Market, Collingwood Street, and Quayside areas are considered away-fan-friendly pre-match zones.
