Game Day Tourist was created under the motto “One Passion. Every Stadium.” — to help sports fans everywhere, regardless of nationality, experience professional sports more easily and enjoyably, wherever they are in the world.
This site was built by someone with hands-on marketing experience at a Korean professional sports team. Over the years at the ballpark, they watched countless foreign fans give up on buying tickets because of the language barrier, get lost trying to find the stadium, or leave without ever fully enjoying the cheering culture.
Game Day Tourist started from a simple frustration: “a little more guidance would have made this so much better.” What began with the KBO (Korean baseball) has since grown to cover nine leagues across four countries: Korea (KBO baseball, K League 1 football), the USA (MLB baseball, NBA basketball), Europe (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga football), and Japan (NPB baseball, J1 League football). We plan to keep expanding to new sports and leagues based on how the site is received going forward.
Beyond visitor guides, the site also runs a column called "Marketer Insights." These are firsthand analyses from visits to stadiums around the world, looking at space marketing, premium seating strategy, cashless operations, and ancillary revenue diversification through a working marketer’s eyes — written for anyone curious about the business side of professional sports.
Game Day Tourist is an independent, individually run site with no official affiliation to any team or league. Our goal is simple: make it easy for any sports fan, regardless of nationality, to walk into a stadium and enjoy the game.
